Conquest! New Age Wiki

Welcome to Conquest! You might have already tried to attack someone, got killed pretty quickly and now have to start over? If that's the case or you simply want to improve your game, the following small guide might help you get started.

Choosing a Class[]

As starting class the Fighter is usually recommended. The fighter has strong troops and only a handful of skills, which makes it easier to understand and get going. If you are playing fighter, you will have to learn how Honor works later on - see the Resources page for more info.

Starting a new character[]

When you first log into the game or a new age has started, you will be level 1 with one kingdom. All new characters start with protection - this means you can't get attacked. Attacking of any form will break your protection and you will be a vulnerable target for others. So, rule number one is: DO NOT ATTACK.

Instead you should try to go questing for magical items (Home > Raid > Quest > Dungeons). There are a lot of helpful items to look for, but mostly you will be looking for Stone of the Gods - this will give you a little bit of everything, but most importantly it will give you a keep (more housing space) and more troops. If you are lucky you might find some stones that will help you grow quickly.

Other useful magical items are Orb of Safety (to get new protection if you attacked someone), Potion of Speed or Ring of Wishes (to get more movement points to keep questing or attacking later on), Toy boats (to increase the size of your fleet).

The game can be confusing at first. Don't be shy to ask for help in the chat or in the official discord - and most importantly: Join an alliance! Alliances will give you free reinforcements each battle, you will have a private chat, you can send/recieve troops and goods and you can share locations and names of artifacts and heroes.

When you reach level 3 eventually, you can try to hire heroes and aquire artifacts, which can have powerful effects. To find them, you have to talk to the Mystic, who can be found in each town. If you are lucky, he will tell you hero names and the locations of artifacts, which you will need later on. So whenever you have some spare movement points sitting around, you can use them at the mystic (all important info from the mystic will be saved in your journal, which you can find in Home > Library > Journal and which can be shared with your alliance).

Sailing to other Continents[]

When you found some good magical items, you might want to sail to other continents to increase you chance of surviving. When you sail to a new continent, you will start a new kingdom there (starting at level 1 with 1000 land). Each kingdom is managed individually and can only be managed on the current continent you are staying on/just sailed to. So will sail back and forth a lot. Your character and your whole progress will only be killed if you lost all kingdoms on all three continents.

Even though your kingdoms are managed individually, you ranking is determined by the sum of land on all of your kingdoms. Also heroes, artifacts, alliance, magical items and your fleet is shared between all continents. And the highest level kingdom of you determines your movement points (short "MP") cap and the number of MP you gain per season.

A common strategy is to start growing your kingdoms on two continents and keep your 3rd kingom low, so you can hide there if you are not online. Also, the movement points needed for questing will increase with higher levels. So you can keep questing for only 2 MP per try on a continent, where you are still level 1.
